Now and then I close the door of The Retro Room and do a volunteer shift at Greyhound Rescue. I had a rescue Greyhound for 11 years and she passed on about 2 years ago. Since then I have filled my heart with Dog love by helping these beautiful Rescued Hounds. Greyhounds are so unique and quirky with big hearts. Volunteers are the backbone of the rescue, we clean kennels, do washing, feed, walk and spend time with the dogs. These beautiful Greyhounds are being rehabilitated from often very poor conditions to being rehomed into families with lots of love and understanding.
